Over the last week, I’ve paid close to €200 with website hosting renewal fees and it’s given me the biggest wake up call.
When I first started my blog, all my attention went to my website. Building the site, designing it and creating content. This slowly declined and all my efforts went into social media and, more specifically, Instagram.
I’m sure we can all agree that Instagram can be the most infuriating app. I for one spend so much time obsessing over creating the perfect feed; what to post and when to post it. And in the end a lot goes unposted due to the fact it “doesn’t fit in”.
So with that in mind, and the fact I’m paying for a website I hardy use (🤦🏼♀️!!), I’m going to try and blog more.
This idea was inspired by the amazing Niamh O’Sullivan. Niamh writes weekly round ups and I just adore reading them. I love the randomness and the variety of stuff that crops up.
I’m also not the most talkative person on Instagram, those stories are extremely rare right now. It’s just gone on so long that I don’t even know where to start 😂 so this is also another outlet to give you all a glimpse of the everyday.
I’m feeling very excited to start this and I hope you enjoy!
Yellow is a mood this week and I love it!! Over the last few months my nail colour has been very neutral so it was finally time to embrace the summer colours.
New Huur Who’s This
I’ve been highlighting my hair for over 10 years now and I’m blessed that my hair has stayed in relatively good condition but I thought it was time for a change and to give my hair a break!
Back in April, I got a root drop done for the first time with blonde framing my face and I just love the change. I visited Agnes Burke Hairdressing for a freshen up this week and I still love it as much as I did when I first got it done.
Over the past year I’ve been giving my hair extra attention and I’ve been only using premium brands. One of the first brands I’ve tried out was the hydrate range from Pureology. I love how it makes my hair feel and I love the minty fresh conditioner. I picked up their oil to try it out this time around too.
If you haven’t heard of Beautique Skin & Beauty Clinic in Mullingar you’re missing out on perfection. Lisa is an absolute powerhouse and her salon is going from strength to strength. Lisa and her team provide the most up to date services from skincare to nails to their most famous brows. All her staff are HD trained and their brow transformations are incredible. I went for an 8 week tint and wax this time around. Nothing beats fresh brows.
This week I received a beautfiul package from the lovely Sinead over at Arlo Blue. Arlo Blue are an Irish company who have the cutest T-shirt’s. The quality of their T-shirt’s is also worth a mention, there’s nothing worse than a T-shirt’s that doesn’t wash well! Keep an eye out for a style it edit with these T-shirts, coming soon.

Michael from Love Island. BYE!
2210 Patisserie is a bakery in Mullingar, owned by the incredibly talented Una. Una is the nicest person you’ll ever meet and hands down the most hard working lady I know. Have you ever met anyone who works through the night after putting in a full day? I don’t know how she does it! Her backstory and how she got to where she is today is nothing short of inspiring. She’s expanding her shop over the next few weeks and I’m so excited for her. Check out her Instagram to follow her journey. *Note: This will cause hunger*
I finally got around to writing about our trip to Lisbon, you can read it here.
