Skincare is a hot topic of late; now more than ever we seem to be more conscious of what products we are putting on our faces, and rightly so.
On a daily basis I come across other bloggers talking about their current skincare routine, so its safe to say we’ve more access to information about the range of products out there than ever.
Of course, this is both a blessing and a curse. The problem? Everyone is different; what works for one may not for another and so I guess skincare can be a lot of trial and error.
There are services available in beauty salons, counters etc nationwide where you can get your skin assessed but let’s face; it this takes up both time and money, especially when you’re on a low budget!
Like anyone else, I can only give my experiences with particular products but I have one safe bet; natural skincare.
The history of my skin can be described with one word… acne. The fear and dread that word gives me!!
At the age of 16 I was stuck down and only came out the other side just over a year ago. I have combination skin so I’m still subject to the odd break out but it really is the best feeling to wake up in the morning and not have the fear of looking in the mirror.
The product I have to thank for it all; Kinvara Absolute Cleansing Oil. I could and will continue to talk about this product for as long as anyone will listen. It is, without a doubt, a miracle in a bottle.
Kinvara – Absolute Cleansing Oil
100% natural and bursting with essential oils such as sunflower seed oil, rosemary and eucalyptus leaf oil to name a few, this cleanser nourishes the skin, leaving it incredibly soft while removing all make up to give your skin that squeaky clean feeling.
What makes this oil even better? It actually helps to balance oil production which is great news for those of us with acne and oil prone skin.
A little also goes a long way with this oil and I find I get up to 3 months out of a bottle.
Naturally enough, when you lose something, you gain something else. For me, its the fear of fine lines haha!! Seriously I still feel like a child, how did I end up here so quickly?!
Luckily, I’ve found two products from Trilogy that make my skin look and feel amazing.
Trilogy – Rosehip Oil Antioxidant +
This product has a duel benefit for my skin; minimising acne scars and reducing fine lines due to it’s essential fatty acids. Not only are these essential fatty acids excellent for these purposes but they also help with hydration and skin cell renewal.
It can be used twice a day however I just use it every night before bed and still reap the benefits. My skin is always so bright and plump the next morning which makes a great base for make up.

Trilogy – Vital Moisturising Cream
When it comes to moisturisers, I’ve lost count of how many brands I’ve tried! I am hopeless for drinking water so my skin can look quite dull and feel a little dehydrated at times so I always need that little bit of help and I’ve finally found it in this mosituriser.
With Rosapene™, marula and orange flower, it gives my skin all the hydration it needs. Well almost, I can’t make any excuses not to drink more water!
This cream has a handful of benefits; hydration, light weight fell, easily absorbed and my favourite, it can be used as a day and night cream saving the hassle of having two creams.
